Delete your Retape account

Request deletion
To request deletion of your Retape account and associated data, email us from the address connected to your account. We will confirm the request and delete eligible account data according to our privacy policy.
What is deleted
Eligible account profile data, closed-test access records, and service data connected to your account will be deleted or anonymized where practical.
What may be retained
Some limited records may be retained temporarily where needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or abuse-prevention reasons. Backup copies may also take time to expire from normal infrastructure systems.
Self-serve deletion
You can delete your account in the app. Go to Settings, tap your account, scroll down, tap "Delete account...", then follow the onscreen instructions.
If you want to keep your account but control your data, you can also delete all sent tapes in the app and remove all your contacts.
